Dr Ailani is a professor of clinical neurology and vice co-chair of strategic planning at MedStar Georgetown University. She is also director of the Georgetown Headache Center at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr Ailani completed her neurology residency at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York and a headache fellowship at Jefferson Headache Center in Philadelphia. Dr Ailani is board certified in neurology, with additional certification in headache. Among the conditions she treats are migraine, cluster headache, tension headache, posttraumatic headache, occipital neuralgia, headache related to neck strain, and concussion-related headache. Dr Ailani is section editor of "Unusual Headache Syndromes" for Current Pain and Headache Reports.

Dr Buse, a board member at large of the Board of Directors of the American Headache Society, is an award-winning clinician-scientist-educator who helps people live well with chronic conditions, including migraine. She is a clinical professor of neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and an assistant professor in the clinical health psychology doctoral program of Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in New York. Dr Buse is a co-investigator on many migraine epidemiologic studies, including the American Migraine Prevalence and Prevention (AMPP) Study, the Chronic Migraine Epidemiology and Outcomes (CaMEO) US and international studies, the Migraine Signature Study (MSS), the International Burden of Migraine Study (IBMS), the Migraine in America Symptoms and Treatment (MAST) study, and the OVERCOME study, among others. She has authored more than 150 scientific publications.

Dr Halker Singh is an associate professor of neurology at Mayo Clinic. She is the headache fellowship program director at Mayo Clinic and co-director of the Mayo Clinic Headache Symposium. She is also co-director of the REACH program and a member of several committees at the American Headache Society. Dr Halker Singh is deputy editor of Headache and an editorial board member of the American Migraine Foundation. Her areas of interest include new and emerging treatments for migraine, community outreach, headache medicine education, and promoting women in medicine. She is also interested in using virtual platforms to build professional communities, and is a moderator for the Women Neurologists Group and an administrator of the Migraine Mavens social media network. She has participated in a multitude of studies focused on the improvement of outcomes for patients with migraine.

Dr O'Brien, an award-winning neurologist, is founder and chief executive officer of Headache Center of Hope in Cincinnati. The center offers a multidisciplinary approach, with lifestyle modifications and supplemental nutrition, restoring health and wellness for patients with headache. Dr O'Brien completed her residency in adult neurology at University of Cincinnati. Thereafter she studied headache medicine and was recruited to join the faculty at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where she established the Young Adult Headache Program, which focused on the needs of adolescents and young adults (ages 15-26) with headaches. Her research endeavors have centered on the improvement of outcomes for patients with migraine. Among her most recent accomplishments, Dr O'Brien earned an executive master of business administration degree from Xavier University.

Dr Sprouse Blum is board certified in family medicine and UCNS (United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties) certified in headache medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York, followed by fellowships in headache medicine and headache research at the University of Vermont in Burlington. His current research interests include migraine and the microbiome, and neuroimaging in patients with unilateral migraine attacks. Dr Sprouse Blum serves as co-chair of the American Headache Society's First Contact – Headache in Primary Care program. The program's aim is to provide educational resources that empower healthcare professionals and improve headache and migraine care.
