Markman on Oncology
Maurie Markman, MD, is currently president of medicine and science at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia. He has more than 20 years of experience in cancer treatment and gynecologic oncology research, and most recently served as vice president for clinical research and chairman of the Department of Gynecologic Medical Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. In June 2011, he received the ASCO Statesman Award.
