Lidia Schapira, MD, is an associate professor of oncology at the Stanford University Medical Center, where she specializes in breast cancer and the unique concerns of young cancer survivors. Dr Schapira has published articles in the leading scientific and academic journals in the field, and is a past director of the American Psychosocial Oncology Society.
