Andrew Alexis, MD, MPH, considers the underrepresentation of psoriasis in specific racial and ethnic populations, both in terms of presence in clinical trials and inclusion in clinical tools that facilitate timely diagnosis and treatment. Although there are currently major efforts in place to overcome these disparities, Dr Alexis notes that there is still much to do in order to correct these imbalances.
