Steven Feldman, MD, PhD, recalls his early days in training as a dermatologist, with gratitude to Dr Michael Zanolli, who led the psoriasis treatment center prior to Dr Feldman taking over the leadership role, and to Dr Joseph Jorizzo founding chair of the dermatology department at Wake Forest University.

Dr Feldman considers the National Psoriasis Foundation another mentor, citing programs led by Dr Alice Gottlieb, Dr Mark Lebwohl, and Dr Alan Menter as sources of inspiration. He also recognizes Dr Craig Leonardi, who implored the importance of an aggressive treatment plan.
