Guillain-Barré Syndrome and Vaccines: Time to Say Yes?

A healthy 65-year-old woman with no active concerns presents for her annual well-woman visit. She has a history of a single episode of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) which occurred during the summer months 7 years ago. She has made a full recovery but tells you that it took a full 18 months before she "was back to myself."
