Dr. Keegan is President of Medical Practice Dimensions, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in healthcare and organizational development. She works with hospitals, integrated delivery systems, private medical practices, and academic institutions and is also in demand as a consultant and speaker for professional societies and leading vendors in the healthcare market.
Dr. Keegan has authored or coauthored 5 books about healthcare that have received wide acclaim: Rightsizing: Appropriate Staffing for Your Medical Practice; The Physician Billing Process: 12 Potholes to Avoid in the Road to Getting Paid (first and second editions); Physician Compensation Plans: State-of-the-Art Strategies; and her most recent book, Innovative Staffing for the Medical Practice, which has just been published.
